Called EVOLV, this special tan tech delivers a heated airbrush tan that can be customized from a light glow to a deep, dark tan. Take your custom spray tan to the next level with a la carte add-ons like scents, accelerator, finishing powder to minimize stickiness, or a post-tan moisturizing treatment for luxuriously soft skin. The best part? You’ll get a complimentary glass of bubbly (beer and wine options are available too) with every tan.

9 spring festivals in DFW you’ll want to add to your calendar

The DFW spring festival schedule is absolutely stacked. Here are our top 9 picks.

Punxsutawney Phil has declared an early spring is on its way. In North Texas, that means some gorgeous weather for a season chock full of festivals and fun. Our calendars are bursting with local festivals celebrating everything from Selena and pinball machines to crawfish and reggae.

We’ve curated the best spring agenda throughout March and April. Here are nine festivals you don’t want to miss!

Dallas Blooms

February 24–April 8, 2024

Cost: Adults: $22; seniors (65+): $18; children (2-12): $13, child (under 2): free

Start the season strong with Dallas Blooms, the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest. “Spectacular” fairly describes the 500,000 blooming bulbs at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, including tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils. As the weather warms, visitors will also delight in striking bursts of color as azaleas and cherry trees bloom around the garden’s 66 acres on the shores of White Rock Lake in East Dallas.

Bring your brightest smiles for the 2024 theme, “A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words,” with living selfie walls and endless picturesque vignettes. (Our favorites are found in A Woman’s Garden with its multiple sculptures, infinity pool, fountains, and elegant features.)

North Texas Irish Festival

March 1–3, 2024

Cost: Friday: $15; Saturday/Sunday: $25/one-day, $40/two-day ticket; weekend pass: $45

Sing “Ceád Míle Fáilte” to your inner Irish spirit at the 42nd annual North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park in Dallas, March 1–3, 2024. This family- and dog-friendly event includes traditional and contemporary Irish music and dance, as well as storytelling, arts and crafts, Irish vendors, animal shows, lots of great food options, and a fun run on Saturday morning.

Whiskey lovers, take note: Marius Donnelly, ex-proprietor of Trinity Hall Irish Pub, will help elevate your sipping game with three Irish whiskey-tasting masterclasses over the weekend. These 90-minute experiences will feature whiskies from five Irish distillers, with Donnelly delving into the distillery backstories, the whiskey flavor expressions, and connoisseur tips on catching flavor nuances.

Selena Market Fest

March 9, 2024

Cost: Free with registration

The Selena Market Fest will have you singing “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” all around Main Street Garden Park on March 9, 2024. Celebrate the spirit of Selena, the late iconic queen of Latin music, in a vibrant, family-centric atmosphere. Local vendors showcase the diversity of Latinx culture, live performances will keep you on your toes, and @official_queenladyb will rule the “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” contest. Calling all lovers of the strange, unusual, and bizarre! The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is passing through Dallas March 30–31 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Cosplay is encouraged for attendees as they peruse vendors, dealers, artists, and small businesses of all things weird. Think ghoulish jewelry, creepy clothing, preserved specimens, one-of-a-kind artwork, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, funeral collectibles, and even more than Morticia Addams could dream of. Performers will entertain, and food will satiate, but don’t let that distract you from the taxidermy classes held during the expo.

It’ll be a full day of crawfish, music, drinks, dancing, games, food, bands, and people. People Outdoors Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

The best St. Paddy’s celebrations in ATL and beyond

From Atlanta to Savannah, get ready for lively parties, parades, and green beers galore.

Atlantans are lucky — we can choose to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day here in our city or we can take a short weekend trip to beautiful Savannah. Atlanta St. Paddy’s events include fun festivals, lively parades, and 5K events featuring runners in green taking over the streets. In Savannah, what began as a small observation of St. Patrick’s Day by Savannah’s Hibernian Society in 1813 has evolved into a four-hour parade that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world. Savannah truly becomes one big celebration once March arrives.

Here are the best events in both cities for St. Patrick’s Day this year.

Celebrations in Atlanta

St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Midtown Atlanta

Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Parade is a fantastic annual event that has been around for over 140 years, making it one of the oldest parades in the country and the longest-running event in Atlanta. This year’s parade promises to be a spectacular display of talent and diversity, with over 2,000 participants, 100 parade units, and 700 musicians and dancers. The parade will feature many performers, including clowns, dancers, children, drill teams, Bagpipe & Drum Corps, and more. Save your spot on Saturday, March 16, along the parade route in Midtown before the noon start time.

Park Tavern’s ShamRock Fest

Looking for some post-parade excitement after the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Midtown? You won’t want to miss out on ShamRock Fest at Park Tavern! It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style, with plenty of music and fun to go around. DJs will be spinning tunes all day long starting at 2 pm, and you can enjoy drink specials crafted especially for the occasion. Get your tickets here. This event is 21 and up, but dogs are more than welcome to join in on the fun.

8th Annual Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K

The Marietta Shamrock Shuffle is an annual 5K walk/run event to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Registration is now open for the event on Saturday, March 16, at Marietta Square. The race starts at 8 am and the registration fee is only $35. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the Marietta Police Athletic League’s youth sports, academic, and recreation programs.

Weekend trip to Savannah

St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah

Get ready for a fantastic time at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, happening on Saturday, March 16th. This parade is the highlight of the Savannah St. Paddy’s experience and is one of the largest parades in the country. You’ll get to enjoy a spectacular lineup of entertainment, including service members from the area, marching bands from all over the United States, and even the majestic Budweiser Clydesdale horses. The parade kicks off around 10:15 a.m. and lasts for several hours, taking you through much of the Historic District. Wear comfy shoes, and don’t forget to wear green.

Greening of the Fountain

If you’re visiting Savannah longer than St. Paddy’s weekend, don’t miss the Forsyth Park fountain going green on Friday, March 8. Ceremony attendees work together to pour green dye into the fountain water starting at noon.

29th Annual March of Dimes Shamrock Run 5K

Join the March of Dimes Shamrock Run in Ellis Square on the evening of March 1 to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with fellow Savannahians. The 5K race welcomes participants of all ages, dogs included. The event is a cherished tradition that brings the community together in a vibrant run. Come in your best holiday attire, enjoy live music, and maybe even win a gift card for your creative costume. Get your ticket now, and note that there are military and student discounts.

Pub crawl down River Street

River Street is the most exciting destination in Savannah for food, shopping, and nightlife. It’s also the perfect place to be during St. Patrick’s Day. You can enjoy a DIY St. Paddy’s crawl by hopping from bar to bar, but keep an eye out for high entrance fees. Stafford’s Public House hosts an official bar crawl the weekend before (for practice!) and on St. Patrick’s Day. You can grab your tickets here.
